STAFFING AGENCY GUIDELINES
City National’s in-house Talent Acquisition team conducts the majority of our recruiting efforts. However, we may also work with external staffing agencies for assistance in filling a highly specialized or senior-level position. These external staffing agencies are on our preferred vendor list and are under contract with City National.We have a defined process by which we solicit candidate referrals from our preferred staffing agency vendors:
- When we need external assistance in filling a specific position, we will invite one or more preferred staffing agencies to submit qualified candidates through our online applicant tracking system.
- Invitations to assist in recruiting efforts are unique to a particular position, so we ask that recruiters not submit candidates for other positions.
- Recruiters should not use City National’s general online job application tool found on this website; it is for job seekers only. Recruiter or agency submissions through the general online job application system will not be accepted.
Please note that City National does NOT accept unsolicited resumes or candidate referrals from recruiters and agencies that are not under contract with City National and who are not currently on our preferred vendor list. No City National colleague has authority to accept a resume from a recruiter or agency that is not under contract with City National.
Resumes submitted to any City National colleague by a third-party agency and/or search firm not currently under contract with City National will become the sole property of City National. Additionally, no fee of any kind will be paid if a candidate is hired for a position as a result of an unsolicited agency or search firm referral.
