The American Gift Fund (AGF) was founded by the predecessors of RBC Trust Company (Delaware) Ltd. (RBCT), as an independent 501(c)(3) public charity in 1998. AGF sponsors a Donor Advised Fund program and is governed by an independent Board of Directors. RBCT serves as Trustee and provides certain investment management and administrative services pursuant to a service agreement. RBCT is a wholly owned subsidiary of City National Bank, an RBC Company. This position will be an employee of RBCT, subject to its human resources, responsible for the administration of the day-to-day activities of AGF. This position is responsible for supporting the daily administration of the AGF, including the servicing of donor inquiries and grant recommendations. Provides expertise in all aspects of client servicing and assists clients with any request or transaction. Works with both internal and external business partners including financial advisors, investment consultants, and portfolio managers to ensure efficient administration and operation of donor advised funds.

As a member of City National's Private Banking group, you will help deliver tailored financial solutions to high- and ultra-high-net-worth families, select professional services firms and select nonprofits.   • Responsible for all administrative tasks related to the American Gift Fund (AGF).
  • Serve as product specialist for AGF, specifically donor advised funds.
  • Administer grants, including the review, processing, and reporting of grant recommendations requested by donor advisors.
  • Provide best-in-class client service through timely, thoughtful, and thorough responses to client and partner inquiries.
  • Provide support services in conjunction with external business partners, to ensure required compliance and annual filings are completed timely and accurately.
  • Serve as a relationship liaison to donors and financial advisors as a primary point of contact (both phone and email) for any service related activity.
  • Collaborate and partner with other departments and key business partners, including new business, operations, business development, risk, marketing, and accounting to ensure sound and efficient operations.
  • Support and participate in organizational initiatives and projects.



  • H.S. Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  • 2 years of employment experience preferred with a background in, financial services, banking, public charities, trusts.
  • 2 years of experience with donor advised funds highly desired.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational competence, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during the year-end peak season (November through January) as necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in both a collaborative team environment and independently.
  • Proficiently work in a Windows based environment including MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
  • Ability and eagerness to learn new programs and software packages with minimal assistance.
