Product Developer

Providing support across the Product group, the Product Developer drives selected City National Bank efforts to help define, plan, develop and deliver new products and services, including those which will be more complex product initiatives that could be strategic or tactical in nature and delivered to attract new or retain existing clients. The role of Product Developer has a positive impact on the speed and efficiency of delivering products for the organization. Responsibilities will include working with Product Managers to develop the plan, strategy, vision and goals associated with the new product, defining product requirements, business model, business case and process design. The candidate will play an integral role in increasing the Bank's ability to attract new customers and deepen relationships with existing customers through the development of new products and services.
  • *Minimum 5 years of banking experience required.
  • *Minimum 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
  • *Minimum 10 years of product management, marketing, marketing research or strategic planning and/or project management experience required.
  • *Minimum 10 years of experience managing medium to large projects required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • The position requires a customer centric, dynamic, process oriented and passionate product expert who will support, motivate and matrix manage an extended group of Colleagues to produce superior products and services.
  • Having responsibility for overseeing all phases of design and development, including building product requirements (working in conjunction with Product Management), assessment of appropriate solutions, process improvements, specification of project plans, tasks and schedules, the incumbent must be highly organized and possess strong project management skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, decisive, driven and results oriented.
  • A proven track record in successfully managing the development of complex mission critical enterprise initiatives.
  • Experience in managing a strategic product through the entire product life cycle.
  • Strong leadership skills that foster team work and consistent with our PRIDE values.
