Field Service Technician II

Provides technical, end-user support to internal desktop systems used by colleagues. Performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs personal computer systems and peripheral equipment located throughout the Bank. Provides quality customer service-onsite support to City National Bank colleagues.

Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • *High School Diploma or GED required.
  • *Minimum 2 years' experience in troubleshooting computer hardware required.
  • *A+ Certification or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification required.
  • *Minimum 2 years' experience using Windows 7 Operating System to diagnose and repair PC problems.

Job Skills and Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and ability to diagnose and repair PC problems.
  • Working knowledge of networking basic to the hub level and network administration.
  • Good analytical, planning, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with personal computers, related software packages and local area networks.
  • A+ certification or MCSC education preferred.
  • Requires an AA degree or equivalent trade school or minimum 2 years experience in troubleshooting computer hardware.
  • Sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems with ability to diagnose and repair PC problems.
  • Working knowledge of networking basic to the hub level and network administration.

  • Proficient with personal computers, related software packages and local area networks.
