Responsible for the adoption of the AIRB model across various lines of business, supports this adoption and implementation by identifying areas that need improvement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Identifies current or potential problems with the adoption of the AIRB model; works with RBC to modify, amend, or re-draft criteria papers that assist with the adoption of the model
- Acts as internal advisor/partner to CNB’s Credit managers, underwriters and analysts. Reviews criteria papers with respective areas to identify areas that are not compliant
- Review results of test programs that are performed by business areas
- Collaborate with RBC colleagues on the initial phase of Gap Analysis and review areas which are not considered AIRB Compliant
- Work with other business units such as Credit, BATS and Finance to understand the business and technical policies, processes, and systems that will require changes and updates as a result of AIRB.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or accounting.
- Minimum 10 years of credit examination, bank examiner or manager of a large financial institution, regulatory agency or public accounting firm
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
- RMA Credit Risk certification
Skills and Knowledge
- A thorough understanding of analyzing various types of credits
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal/written communication skills and strong project management skills.
- Experience consulting with senior management on various credit-related issues.
- Thorough knowledge and operational skills in the use of personal computers and various software packages, including Excel and Word.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
